Our Home Theater Pictures
You can't have a home theater site without example photos, right? RIGHT! Here are some of the pictures of our
cherished project. At the very least it should give you more ideas. I remember looking on the internet for any and all theater pictures I could
find. It's my turn to offer ours to you. Enjoy!

This picture is taken from the back of the theater at the top of 3 steps that lead down into the room. You can see the
insulation is going in and the framework for the entertainment center is being built at the front of the room. The dirty old couch is there for
size reference and also for moments of dreaming.

The drywall is being finished, the entertainment area and stage are built and the lighting is in place. Its starting to look
like a home theater!

A shot taken from the front of the theater looking back toward the double door entrance and the 3 steps leading down into the
room.

The carpet has been laid and they're bringing in the furniture and TV. Notice how that wall in the back of the entertainment
center area opens up. My husband made the wall as a huge door (with a small escape hatch door in the middle of it for a fire exit). We wisely did
this so large items could be easily brought into the room. There is about 6 feet of storage behind that wall, too.

Here's the finished theater... isn't it awesome!?!?! The wood cabinets on either side of the TV are part of a prebuilt
entertainment center that we created slots for in the front wall. In order for the video equipment pieces (amp, DVD player, VCR, etc) to fit
flush on the right side, we created black faceplates to cover any gaps between the equipment (plywood with appropriately sized holes cut in the
front painted with glossy black paint). The next project is to create 2 built in shelving units on either side of the room (outside the visual
range of this photo).
Thanks for checking out our theater pictures!
